Adoption Horizons Inc. is an Intercountry child placement agency, licensed by the Province of Ontario, Ministry of Children and Youth Services under the Intercountry Adoption Act of Ontario to facilitate adoptions from Russia and Kazakhstan.
Adoption Horizons, lnc. is a non-profit organization, originally established and created in 1995 by adoptive parents seeking to assist other prospective adoptive parents in the international adoption process. The Agency has considerable adoption experience, and as of October 2008, has facilitated the placement of more than 570 children from Russia, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan with Canadian families.

Announcement Adoption Horizons will host its next Post-Adoption Support Group meeting on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Adoption Horizons office. The next 2 Ottawa Support Groups will be held on June 8 and July 20, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 207 Woodroffe Ave (big United Church almost at Richmond) in the Friendship Room. The room is located on the left as soon as you enter the church and there are coat hangers just outside the room. Parking is available in the back of the church. Click here for map.

Announcement ATTENTION: Due to
the recent CUPE strike, the Adoption Horizons Potluck Picnic will be
relocated to Boyd Conservation Area on Islington Avenue north of
Highway 7. The festivities will take place at the Poplar Hill Picnic
Site on Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 10 AM until 1 PM.

here to see PDF for details). Everyone is welcome to attend this yearly event for a chance to meet the families and children who have found each other with the help of Adoption Horizons. As always, the tradition continues with entertainment for the children, a potluck of great foods, and the triumphant return of Russian pastries! Helping Orphans Progress Everyday will be collecting donations at the event. Attendees can also help by purchasing raffle tickets. All of the funds raised will be distributed in July to Volgograd and Birobidzan for the purchase of much needed medicine and vaccines.
